Is my phone or device compatible with eSIM?

Probably! We have a list of compatible devices here. You can also check with your device manufacturer if it's not clear.

How long is my eSIM valid for?

You have 12 months from the point of purchasing to activate and start using your eSIM.

The data bundle you've purchased will be valid for the duration displayed at the time of purchase.

How do I install my eSIM?

The easiest and fastest way to install your eSIM is to scan the QR code you were sent after placing your order.

Are there any caps on the unlimited data bundles?

There's no usage cap on our unlimited bundles. There is a speed cap - you'll get 1GB per 24 hours with no speed restrictions. Then for the remainder of the 24 hour period your speeds will be restricted - still plenty to do whatever you need to do!

This isn't uncommon practice - we prefer to be transparent about it.

The 24 hours begins when you first use your eSIM. When you check usage in your account, you'll see how far through that 1GB you are.

Do you manage or throttle my speeds?

For our fixed data bundles, there's no restrictions - you'll get as fast a connection as you can, based on network availability and geography.

Our unlimited bundles offer 1GB of unrestricted data per 24 hours. Then for the remainder of the 24 hour period your speeds will be limited - still plenty to do whatever you need to do!

Can I tether/use my personal hotspot?

Absolutely! There's no limits here. Just remember how much data you could be using if you connect a laptop or stream media.

Absolutely! You can view how much data you've used and how much you have remaining here: View my eSIM.

We will also send you text messages when you hit 50%, 80% and 100%.

Where is my email/QR code?

These sometimes go into spam/junk, so it's worth checking there - we do our best to make sure our emails arrive in your inbox.

Why would I need an eSIM?

It's not that you need one - it's very likely whoever provides your mobile service at home will have a roaming agreement for the country you're travelling to - meaning you can use your phone there.

Where an eSIM can help is the cost they pass on to you when you do roam. If you travel somewhere you don't have inclusive roaming, you'll likely have to pay a lot per MB of data, or a daily charge to use data. Because we don't own a mobile network and we focus purely on travel eSIMs, our suppliers have been able to negotiate great rates for you to use data abroad. In most instances an eSIM will prove to be better value.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely!

Can I make voice calls?

Yes and no. You can't call directly through our eSIM as it's data only, however you can make calls through apps that use data - such as Whatsapp or Facebook.

Can I top up my eSIM?

Absolutely! All of our eSIMs can be topped up. Simply get in touch and we can help you with this. Soon you'll be able to do this yourself through the website.

Can I use a VPN?

Of course! We don't restrict what you can do using our eSIM. Although you will be bound by any local laws, regulations or restrictions.
